New Year at Tokyo Disneyland
From Jan. 1 through 12, 2026
Mickey Mouse and his friends, clad in traditional Japanese attire, greet guests in celebration of the new year.
At the entrances to both parks will be traditional New Year’s kadomatsu decorations featuring designs of a horse, to represent the Chinese Zodiac animal for 2026. Special merchandise and menus themed to the New Year will also be offered.

Spectacular fireworks will light up the sky to celebrate the New Year.

The entrance to World Bazaar will be adorned with New Year’s kadomatsu decorations and banners designed with Disney friends in Japanese outfits.

New Year's Message 2026
Period: From December 26, 2025 through January 12, 2026
New Year's Message 2026 will be handed out mainly for children. These small prints contain messages that support and encourage their new challenges and dreams. The messages will be a surprise! Please contact a cast member with a box to receive your New Year's Message 2026.
- Limited to one per guest.
Location: World Bazaar, around the Parade Route, and more
- Distribution times are irregular.
- Will also be distributed at select shops and restaurants.
- Distribution will end once supplies run out.
Park Tickets with a New Year Design
Period: From January 1 through 12, 2026
Park tickets purchased online for the valid period will feature a New Year-inspired design. Enjoy the parks during the New Year period with this specially designed ticket that enhances the festive spirit!

Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, Disney Ambassador Hotel, and Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta will offer special menus for guests to ring in the New Year.

Limited-period day passes will be available at the Disney Resort Line to celebrate the new year.
