With the reopening of both parks, we are implementing measures in accordance with the Amusement Park and Theme Park New Coronavirus Infection Containment Guidelines that were developed based on the government’s Basic Policies for Novel Coronavirus Disease Control, and additionally are following government agency guidance to give top priority to the health and safety of our guests and cast members in our operations.

We will be deliberate in our operations, thoroughly implementing health and safety measures such as controlled capacity through limits on attendance, limited visitors in attractions, shops, restaurants, and other facilities, regular cleaning and sanitization, proactively requesting guests to maintain social distancing, among other things.

We will also endeavor to promote health and safety by having the information filled in for the primary contact person when guests purchase tickets.

All of the cast members will work together to operate the parks so that guests are able to enjoy the experience. There may be instances in which we cause inconvenience to our guests but ask for your kind understanding and cooperation.

Basic approach to promoting health and safety

We will implement health and safety measures based on the following three points:

  • Be attentive to the health conditions of everyone involved with the parks including guests and cast members
  • Conduct enhanced cleaning and sanitization measures
  • Implement social distancing and provide thoroughly ventilated air conditioning

Park Operations

Due to the state of emergency announced by the Japanese government and requests from local authorities, a limit has been placed on the number of guests admitted to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, with reduced operating hours for both Parks, as of January 12, 2021.

Change in Park Operating Hours

Park operating hours Before Change: From 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
After Change: From 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Effective From January 12 to February 7, 2021

*Information about Park operations up to approximately 3 months in advance is available.
- The operating hours are subject to change.

Facilities:

* In both parks, attractions, entertainment, shops and restaurants will operate with reduced capacity or will be closed.
From January 12, 2021. some restaurants and shops inside the Parks will operate with reduced hours or be closed.
The restaurants and shops affected may change depending on the operating conditions at the Parks. For details, please see the Park information page on your day of visit.

Please note that the Guide Maps and the entertainment schedule "Today" are currently not available.

Admission tickets

Admissions to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will be limited to Guests who have purchased fixed-date tickets from the Tokyo Disney Resort Online Reservations & Tickets website or the Tokyo Disney Resort App, or Guests who were successful in the Park admission lottery.

Regarding the Park tickets, only 1-Day Passports are currently available for purchase.

  • Information about resuming sales for Fixed Date and Time Passports (from 10:30 a.m.) and Fixed Date and Time Passport (from 12 noon) will be announced on this website as soon as it becomes available.

Ticket Sales Schedule

Park ticket sales will end once capacity is reached.

Park Tickets valid for admission

In order to maintain social distancing at the area around the entrance, 3 types of tickets with different entry times will be sold.

  • 1-Day Passport
  • Fixed Date and Time Passport (from 10:30 a.m.)
  • Fixed Date and Time Passport (from 12:00 noon)
  • Please note that all other tickets other than the above, including OpenTickets, Annual Passports, Revisit Passports will not  be admitted.

Requests to guests visiting the parks

Take part in temperature screening

Temperature screenings will be conducted during admission time, and guests with a temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or above, or cold-like symptoms will be asked to refrain from entering.

Wear masks

  • Guests are required to wear masks at all times inside the parks(optional for Guests under the age of 2), except when dining. However, in order to prevent heat stroke, during the summer season when the temperature and humidity are high, if guests are outdoors with adequate distance from other people, masks may be removed.
  • Please take your used mask home.
  • Please be considerate of others when coughing or sneezing.

Maintain social distancing

  • Markings are installed to maintain the necessary distance in facility queue lines, seats, restaurant tables, benches, etc., and guests are asked to cooperate in order to maintain social distancing.
  • We ask guests to have their entire party together before queuing at the Park entrance and refrain from having members of their party join them in the queue later.

Wash and sanitize hands

Hand sanitizers are placed in attractions, shops, restaurants, restrooms and other locations in the Park, so please sanitize hands and fingers and wash hands regularly.

Other

    • The government of Japan, as well as the Chiba prefecture local authority, encourages you to install the COVID-19 Contact-Confirming Application (COCOA) on your mobile device.
    • Cashless transactions such as credit cards and electronic money are recommended.
    • If guests become ill after entering the park, they may be asked to leave depending on their symptoms.
    • If you don't feel well after entering the Park, please go to Central First Aid or contact a cast member for assistance.
    • To prevent heat stroke, please remember to stay hydrated.
    • Please arrive within the given time frame on your Park ticket.
【Individuals for whom the following applies are asked to refrain from visiting. 】
    • Guests who have been in close contact with individuals who have tested positive for the new coronavirus
    • Guests who have family members or close acquaintance who are suspected of being infected
    • Guests who have been to countries or areas that the government has banned entry from, or requires monitoring after entering the country, as well as guests who have been in close contact with residents of the above, in the last 14 days
  • Elderly people and people with medical conditions who may develop serious symptoms if infected are advised to consider cautiously whether to visit the parks.
  • Guests’ personal information may be provided to public health authorities upon request for the purpose of preventing the spread of the new coronavirus.

Guests staying at Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotels should inquire about admission tickets and guaranteed park admission at each hotel.

Standby Pass Request and Issuing

Attraction
To experience an attraction requiring a Standby Pass, guests may try to obtain one on the Tokyo Disney Resort App only after they have entered the Park. Guests can enter the queue for the attraction during the assigned time on the Standby Pass.
- If a wait time is indicated at the attraction entrance or on the Tokyo Disney Resort App, then a Standby Pass is not required to enter the attraction queue.

Entry Request, Results, and Admission Time

Attraction
To experience attractions that require an Entry Request, guests may make one on the Tokyo Disney Resort App only after they have entered the Park.
Only guests who have received a return time from the Entry Request will be able to experience the attraction.

Due to the postponement of "Happy Fair with Baymax" program which was originally scheduled to start from January 13, 2021, Happy Fair Lab will not be available until further notice.

Disney Character Greeting Experience
Certain Disney Character Greeting experiences require an Entry Request. Guests must apply for one on the Tokyo Disney Resort App after they have entered the Park.
Only guests who have received a return time from the Entry Request will be able to experience the greeting.

  • The opening date for Fantasyland Forest Theatre and its “Mickey’s Magical Music World” show will be announced as soon as it is decided.
