Maihama Resort Line Co., Ltd., (hereinafter “we,” “us,” and “our”) is fully committed to protecting your personal information. The policy disclosed below applies to the handling of personal information acquired by us through the Tokyo Disney Resort website (URL: www.tokyodisneyresort.jp) and other applications provided through the services operated by operators of websites and application markets designated by us (hereinafter collectively the “Official Sites, etc.”) under license from Disney Enterprises, Inc. (a U.S. corporation, hereinafter “Disney”), as well as personal information acquired by us in connection with the operation of businesses related to Tokyo Disney Resort.

1. Privacy Policy

We respect the privacy of users (hereinafter “Guests,” “you,” and “your”) in the course of the operation of Tokyo Disney Resort (including the operation of official websites and official applications and the same applies hereinafter) and handle your personal information (information that identifies a particular individual, such as names, dates of birth, addresses, telephone numbers, and other descriptions) acquired in connection with the operation of Tokyo Disney Resort based on the following policies:

(3) Any personal information acquired in the course of the operation of Tokyo Disney Resort will be used within the scope of the following purposes.

The personal information we acquire in connection with the operation of Tokyo Disney Resort will be used in certain businesses related to Tokyo Disney Resort to offer products and services and to send you information.

We analyze and use the (1) name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address and other information you provide; (2) image data contained in photographs you provide; (3) usage history (including location information) of our services and purchase history of our products; (4) usage history and browsing history of the Official Sites, etc.; and (5) information provided in our questionnaire surveys etc., for the following purposes:
(i) To advertise and send emails about our products and services based on your interests and preferences
(ii) To recommend products and services based on your interests and preferences using push notifications on the Official Sites, etc.
(iii) To use analytical and statistical information for improving products and services and developing new products, services and facilities

At your discretion, you may request that we cease providing your personal information to third parties (please refer to Privacy Policy 1.(5)).

The types of personal information we provide to third parties and methods of provision are as follows.

2) Image data contained in the photographs you have provided
3) Records of which of our services you have used
4) Your browsing history on the Official Sites, etc.

(4) In addition to the cases described above, we may share your information with a third party without your consent to the minimum extent necessary on the following occasions:

(i) When conducting surveys and analysis aimed at improving the use of Tokyo Disney Resort and its official websites and the services they provide. In such case, statistical information will be provided in a form that cannot identify individuals

(5) We have established a designated contact point (listed in “5. 2. Handling of Personal Information Provided to Each Service

Instructions on Use, Terms of Use, and Member Agreements, etc. in connection with each service you select will apply to personal information you provide when using individual services at Tokyo Disney Resort and on its Official Sites, etc. If you wish to discontinue any selected service for any reason, you can do so by contacting us. 3. Handling of Personal information in Connection with Official Websites

(1) Privacy Protections for Minors

Our official website are configured so that persons under the age of 18 cannot submit personal information without permission from their guardian. Therefore, their guardian’s contact details or email address may be required when registering as a user. Moreover, personal information acquired from Guests under the age of 13 will not be used for marketing or promotional purposes, except as expressly indicated during the user registration process.

(2) Use of Information Linked to Cookies and Other Identifiers

“Cookies” refers to data transferred and stored on individual users’ web browsers or web servers (computers that host websites) when they visit a website.

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. In order to check your personal information against information in our databases, we will confirm the circumstances surrounding the acquisition of your personal information, such as when and how the information was acquired. Please note that we may not be able to respond to requests for disclosure, etc. if we are unable to confirm such details.

(2) Administrative charges

If we respond in writing to the above requests for disclosure, etc., you will be asked to pay an administrative charge equivalent to actual postal costs (600 yen per letter).
