Boarding criteria and boarding details differ from attraction to attraction so please ask a Cast Member directly. Please note that depending on the situation, boarding may be refused based on a Cast Member's judgment.

In the event of an evacuation from an attraction

In case of emergency evacuation, Guests may be required to walk certain distances, negotiate stairs and/or narrow walkways, have a companion assist or carry them, or wait in the vehicle for an extended period of time for assistance.

Guests can remain seated in wheelchair for the entire attraction.

  • Note 1: Guests must transfer to a designated wheelchair for the attraction vehicle. Guests may not use their own wheelchair (personal or Tokyo Disney Resort rental).
  • Note 2: The following places on Tom Sawyer Island are not wheelchair-accessible: Injun Joe’s Cave, Tom Sawyer’s Treehouse, Huckleberry Pond, Barrel Bridge, Suspension Bridge, Castle Rock Ridge and Harper’s Mill.

Video guidance for wheelchair access

Guests must transfer to a designated wheelchair for the attraction vehicle. Guests may not use their own wheelchair (personal or Tokyo Disney Resort rental).

Guests who require extra time for boarding may transfer from their wheelchair to the attraction vehicle at a designated boarding area.

Guests may remain in their wheelchair and enjoy the show at a designated viewing area for the following attractions.

Viewing Entertainment Programs

Designated viewing areas for Guests using wheelchairs are available at the viewing areas of shows, parades, and theater attractions. Guests wishing to take advantage of this service should contact a nearby Cast Member or refer to the "Tokyo Disneyland Today" pamphlet for details.

There are 3 designated viewing areas that allow Guests using wheelchairs to enjoy an unobstructed view of parades.

Designated viewing areas on the parade route for Guests using wheelchairs are roped off and marked with a green sign as shown in the photo.

Guests will be conducted into the area starting from the front row in the order of their arrival.

Wheelchair-accessible restrooms that have more space and that have facilities for ostomates are located throughout the Parks.

There are 3 designated viewing areas that allow Guests using wheelchairs to enjoy an unobstructed view of shows.

Guests will be conducted into the area starting from the front row in the order of their arrival.

The fencing is moved forward and down to allow an unobstructed view of the show for Guests seated in their wheelchair.
