Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea Continued Temporary Park Closure and Park Operations

Although the government's state of emergency declaration regarding the new coronavirus (COVID-19) has been lifted, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will temporarily remain closed.

The reopening of the Parks will be determined when external and internal conditions have been readied, including the phased easing of closure requests from the government and local municipalities, as well as preparations for Park operations. The reopening date will be announced once it has been decided.

Additionally, the opening date for the Tokyo Disneyland major expansion area will be determined once the situation can be gauged after reopening both parks.

1. Special events, programs, shows and facilities that are scheduled to end or permanently close during the temporary closure period.

The following special events, programs, shows and facilities will end or close as planned:

Ending on March 19, 2020

  • Very Very Minnie! (Tokyo Disneyland)
  • Pixar Playtime (Tokyo DisneySea)
  • Duffy and Friends’ Heartwarming Days (Tokyo DisneySea)
- Special event merchandise and menu items with souvenirs will be made available after the special event period has ended. Information on sales period, location and method will be posted on the Tokyo Disney Resort Official Website as soon as it becomes available.


Closing on March 25, 2020

  • Fantasmic! (Tokyo DisneySea)

Closing on March 31, 2020

  • Lilo’s Luau & Fun (Tokyo Disneyland)
  • Jungle Rhythms (Tokyo Disneyland)
  • Robo Astro (Tokyo Disneyland)
  • Ariel’s Greeting Grotto (Tokyo DisneySea)

2. Special events and programs that were scheduled to begin during the temporary closure period.

  • CookieAnn’s Greeting Drive (Tokyo DisneySea)
  • Duffy and Friend's Sunny Fun(Tokyo DisneySea)
  • Happy Fair with Baymax(Tokyo Disneyland)

Postponed

  • The opening of the Tokyo Disneyland Expansion new area, originally scheduled for April 15, will be determined and announced once the Parks have reopened. 3. Regarding Park tickets during the period of temporary Park closure

(1) Unused Park Tickets affected by the temporary Park closure which was purchased before Wednesday, March 11, 2020.

Eligible Tickets:

  • Fixed date tickets with a Park admission date from February 29 to June 30, 2020.
  • Park tickets with an expiration date within the period from February 29 to June 30, 2020.
  • Campus Day Passports with fixed admission period from January 6 through March 19, 2020.
  • Corporate Program “Thanks Festival” Passports with fixed admission period from January 6 through March 19, 2020.
Expiration date of Annual Passports will be extended (this also applies to Annual Passport Vouchers and Annual Passport Exchange Certificates).Information will be posted on the Tokyo Disney Resort Official Website as available.

Expiration date will be extended for food vouchers, original popcorn bucket vouchers, and special food vouchers for Very Very Minnie! Information will be posted on the Tokyo Disney Resort Official Website as available.

If you purchased a Park ticket from one of the locations below, please use the designated web form or visit the ticket booths at Tokyo Disney Resort.

  • Tickets purchased from Tokyo Disney Resort Online Reservations & Tickets website. 
  • Tickets purchased at a Disney Hotels, Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotels, Tokyo Disney Resort Partner Hotels, Tokyo Disney Resort Good Neighbor Hotels, or the Disney Store
  • Tickets purchased at the ticket booths at Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea

Ticket refunds will be accepted. 
Ticket changes will also be accepted without a fee, or charge resulting from price difference, to a ticket (Revisit Passport*) valid for admission until March 31, 2021.

*Regarding the Revisit Passport
・Valid at either Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea for one day only.
・Good for any age category (Adult, Junior, Child, or Senior)
・Valid until March 31, 2021
・Not valid on dates when Park admission is being restricted

Note:

  • When you used the web form, it will take about two months to process ticket refunds.
  • Please be aware that after you have submitted web form, you will be unable to request refunds or changes at the ticket booths at Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea.

*Please have a picture of your ticket(s) ready before registering.

After purchasing your ticket(s), you should have received an email from Tokyo Disney Resort confirming your purchase. Please check the PDF file in that email and take a screenshot of the ticket number (20 digits) and the square code. Then save the image and attach it to the web form.

(2) Ticket Sales

  • As of March 11, 2020, sales of fixed-date tickets have been suspended.
  • As of April 3, 2020, sales of open tickets without a fixed admission date as well as new applications for Annual Passports have been suspended.
    Information regarding when tickets will go on sale again will be posted on the Tokyo Disney Resort Official Website as soon as it becomes available.

4. Guests with Vacation Package reservations

  • For Vacation Package reservations, please visit this PC or mobile website.

As of March 11, 2020, new reservations will not be accepted.
Information regarding when reservations can be made will be posted on the Tokyo Disney Resort Official Website.

5. Guests with reservations for show restaurants, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (-Tokyo Disneyland World Bazaar / -Tokyo Disneyland Hotel), or Guided Tours

All reservations will be canceled. Your credit card will be refunded any deposit or advance fees paid at the time of reservation. Please visit this PC or mobile website.

As of March 11, 2020, new reservations will not be accepted.
Information regarding when reservations can be made will be posted on the Tokyo Disney Resort Official Website.

6. Regarding sales of merchandise during the period of temporary Park closure

Online sales of merchandise in Tokyo Disney Resort App
Park merchandise will be offered in the Tokyo Disney Resort App so that you can purchase those items online during the temporary closure of the Parks. Please check here for details. (in Japanese only)

- Online shopping is available for Guests residing in Japan only, and shipments can only be made to addresses within Japan.
