New Year’s Programs at Tokyo Disneyland

New Year’s Programs will be held at Tokyo Disneyland from January 1 through 5, 2020.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in traditional Japanese fashion, along with their Disney Friends, greet Guests in “New Year’s Greeting” to celebrate the beginning of a new year.
For 2020, to honor the Year of the Mouse, designs of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be featured in the traditional Japanese New Year’s decorations at the entrance to the Park. Special merchandise and menus will also be available during this time at Tokyo Disney Resort.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in kimono will appear with other Disney Friends on floats decorated for the New Year season.
At the entrance to World Bazaar, the traditional New Year’s kadomatsu decorations will feature Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea Special Merchandise
Approximately 60 different types of merchandise for New Year’s will be available. Some items feature Mickey Mouse writing the Japanese letter for the zodiac character of the year and other items depict the Disney Friends in traditional Japanese attire. There will also be daruma (Japanese good luck doll) based on Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
Note: Special merchandise will be available from December 2, 2019 to January 8, 2020.
Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea Special Menus
Guests can enjoy desserts in souvenir cups with designs featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in kimono. Menu items such as the Kinako Churro and a Hot Yuzu-Ginger Drink help bring a traditional taste to the season.
Special menu items will be available from December 26, 2019 to January 8, 2020.
Kinako Churros will be available through January 31, 2020.
Special menu items are subject to change without notice and only available while supplies last.
The Disney Ambassador® Hotel, Tokyo Disneyland® Hotel and Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta® will all offer New Year’s menus. These special full-course menus and desserts are a tasty way for Guests to celebrate the new year.

Disney Resort Line
Day passes with special designs inspired by the new year celebrations will be available at each station on the Disney Resort Line.
Park Operations on January 1, 2020
Tokyo Disneyland will open at 8:30 a.m. and Tokyo DisneySea will open at 8:00 a.m.
Please note that exclusive Passport tickets are required for the special New Year’s Eve program at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea (from 8:00 p.m. on December 31, 2019 to 6:00 a.m. on January 1, 2020).
Entertainment programs are subject to change or cancellation due to inclement weather, etc.
The number of performances each day is also subject to change.
Special merchandise items are available in limited numbers and may sell out.
The contents of the menus may change and some items will only be available while the supply lasts.
